4 new fitness classes to try in Staffordshire

The beach is calling and you need to get in shape. If your regular gym routine is giving your zero motivation, try your hand at one these mood boosting alternatives – these are the new fitness classes to try in Staffordshire.

1. Boogie Bounce Xtreme

Women across the county are swapping the treadmill for the some seriously bouncy fun. Boogie Bounce Xtreme is a safe, simple and effective exercise programme on individual mini trampolines. It’s carried out in a darkened room to high energy dance music so there is no need to worry about what you look like – until the lights come on that is! LIVING has been there and done it and we loved it. It’ll leave you sweating buckets and thirsty for more. It’s addictive! Classes are £4.75 each or you can book a block of 5 classes for £22.50 or 10 for £40. All bouncers need need socks with grips on, which are sold at the class for £3.50 a pair.

2. Caveman training 

If you’re after a ripped mid-drift and you have serious will power then take on the 6-week challenge that is caveman training. It’s hardcore fitness at its best so be prepared! Classes take place in Fenton and Newcastle and usually involve a series of structured circuit style training exercises to push and pull you to your limits!

3. TAPfit 

Bring a new groove to your fitness with this high calorie burn workout that has a tap dancing theme – hence the name! Part of Groove Academy dance school, local classes are held in Stone and you don’t need any tap experience or any equipment as it is all provided at the classes.

4. Aerial Fit

Fancy twirling and whirling your way to a toned physique?  If you love the idea of spending time upside down to work on your strength and endurance then Aerial Fit at the Pole Fit studio in Longton is just what you are looking for. Aerial Fit improves strength, flexibility, stamina, posture and grace as with aerial skills, hoop and cube classes. You can book on to a taster class on a Wednesday and Thursday evening at 6.30pm and on a Sunday at 4pm. Register and book online to have a go.
