BEAR coffee shop is the latest addition to Stone’s bustling high street – find out all the details below
Midlands-based BEAR has announced the opening of its latest BEAR coffee shop on Stone high street on 1st November 2018.
Confidently branding itself as #notanothercoffeeshop, the store promises to redefine the cafe-bar experience in Stone. The new BEAR coffee shop will take the building of a former bank in the town.
Stone General Manager, Eddie Beeley, says:
“We’ve been working on a super exciting launch plan over the past few weeks and I can’t wait to start actioning some of the exciting ideas we have in place! I’m really looking forward to rallying my new team and get to work on wholly integrating ourselves in to the amazing Stone community.”
BEAR is making a substantial investment in the former bank property. It is working closely with local contractor, B3 Shopfitting, to fit out the empty building whilst taking care to protect any historic architectural features that remain.
BEAR was Founded in 2014 by entrepreneurs Craig Bunting and Michael Thorley. It first opened at the site of a once iconic retail store at the top of Uttoxeter High Street in 2016. Since then it has also expanded to a former bank building in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter in 2017. The Stone branch, a former bank, will be its third opening in three years.
BEAR is a coffee shop, kitchen and bar open all day for food and beverages.
