The Boat Inn Lichfield to hold a garden Launch Party Sunday May 5 – find out all the details below
There will be a chance to taste the award winning chef Liam Dillon’s new spring/summer garden menu at The Boat Inn garden launch party this Sunday May 5, at 4pm.
Starting at 4pm, the event is free for all and children are welcome. There will be free samples of food to try, plus a live saxophone player and DJ to keep you entertained into the evening.
The garden menu will feature dishes such as: Meat board with cured homemade ham, venison sausage, salami, piccalilli, and duck fat crackers; citrus & confit duck salad with Chinese lettuce; and Lichfied fried chicken with fries and slaw.

Then later in the evening, adults only are invited to an after party from 9pm to 1:30am. Enjoy the best in vocal & soulful house. £10.00 per ticket to be paid on the day/evening.

The main focus of the pub was to create a mix of innovative quality dishes as well as a modern approach to all the pub classics. Chef Dillon has done just that and was recently awarded ‘Newcomer of the Year’ at the Top 50 Gastropub Awards.
His progressive approach to fine dining has also amassed further accolades including the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence, Taste of Staffordshire Winner and the Midlands Food and Drink Awards.
