Breakthrough

Breakthrough is the unbelievable story of Joyce Smith and her 14-year-old son, John, who fell through an icy Missouri lake. He lay clinically dead for an hour but miraculously his heart started beating again. Then continuing to defy all odds, he walked out of hospital on his own just sixteen days later.

Based on true events and adapted from her book, The Impossible, this is an enthralling reminder that faith and love can create a mountain of hope, and sometimes even a miracle. Starring Chrissy Metz as Joyce, with Josh Lucas, Topher Grace, Mike Colter, Marcel Ruiz, Sam Trammell and Dennis Haysbert. Directed by Roxann Dawson.

Breakthrough is due for cinema release on May 17.

We can tell this one is going to be laugh-out-loud good! Also starring Tim Blake Nelson and directed by Chris Addison.
