Singer/songwriter Jack Savoretti shares a few of his favourite things from pasta to cockapoos

Jack Savoretti has taken the UK by storm since his single Candlelight clocked up play after play on the radio back in 2018, making it to BBC Radio 2’s Record Of The Week among others. And his sixth studio album Singing to Strangers debuted at number 1 in the UK album charts in March.

Now he’s touring a number of festivals this summer including Car Fest North and The Big Feastival on Blur bassist Alex James’ farm in Oxfordshire. But, he’ll be in Staffordshire this weekend for his latest Forest Live gig at Cannock Chase Forest. 

So, we thought what better time to catch up with this handsome chap with the beautiful voice. And he very kindly took a break from his hectic schedule to answer our questions on his life and loves.

Which boxset are you currently binging on?

House of Cards.

Have you had any weird fan moments?

Every time I meet anyone who is a fan is strange and wonderful at the same time.

What’s your favourite emoji?

Thumbs up.

What’s your favourite thing to eat?

Pasta! My favourite is Trofie with pesto.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, three dogs. They are all cockapoos – Maggie, Peggy & Milou.

What’s your favourite thing to do on your day off?

Be with my children. We watch old movies that I grew up with.

Do you have any top beauty tips?

Life is too short, worry about other things!

What’s your favourite item of clothing in your wardrobe?

My brown suede Tod’s Chelsea boots.
