Jonathan Wilkes & Christian Patterson are back for the Regent’s panto

Panto favourites Christian Patterson and Jonathan Wilkes have confirmed they will be heading back to Stoke-on-Trent this festive season. The duo, who are regulars at the Regent Theatre, will be performing Sleeping Beauty

The pair are also set to be in town on September 4 for the official launch of the 2019 panto at Ford Green Hall. 

Jonny will star as Muddles and Christian as The Dame and Stoke audiences can expect all the comedy and innuendos they can take from the funnymen.  

Jonny said: “I’m so excited to return to my hometown to launch this year’s panto, Sleeping Beauty at Ford Green Hall!

“We have some great surprises in store and I know that everyone who comes along to see us will have a great time! Christmas is the most magical time of year and I am looking forward to sharing it with my Stokie family.”

 Along with a brand new script, Sleeping Beauty will feature fabulous sets, sparkling costumes, spectacular special effects and enough laughter to wake up even the sleepiest of princesses!

Joining them on the launch will be returning favourite Kai Owen as The King and Delme Thomas who will play the Good Spirit.

Chris Bell, Museum Supervisor at Ford Green Hall said: “We can’t wait to welcome the Regent Theatre’s panto cast for their official 2019 launch of Sleeping Beauty.   

“Panto is a festive tradition for families and we are thrilled that the launch will be held here at Ford Green Hall!”

Sleeping Beauty will be produced by Qdos Entertainment.
