Shaw Education Trust celebrates five years

It’s five years since Shaw Education Trust started to build their family of schools and the network of educators continues to grow.

Recently welcoming St Andrew’s Academy, and Ivy House School, the Trust now proudly consists of 19 schools, two teaching schools, a Research school and an outstanding SCITT!

Leading the Trust in its mission of harnessing the power of people to effect positive change for youngsters, Chief Executive Officer, Jo Morgan commented: “We believe that great strength comes from co-operation and working together.

“Our diverse learning community allows us to create a community of professionals with a wide range of valuable experience and specialist knowledge.”

Initially starting with three special schools, the Trust takes an inclusive approach, now delivering provision to pupils across all sectors, all phases and all communities.

With the family of schools spanning from Birmingham to Bury, the Trust continues to provide students with a range of new opportunities through their use of innovative curricula, unique enrichment activities and strong professional support.

Jo continued: “Our network of schools continues to go from strength-to-strength, supporting one another to be the very best they can be.

“We look forward to further developing our family to enable students, staff and communities, to access high-quality provision, to broaden their horizons, and to achieve awesome outcomes.”
