1. Valentine’s Pottery Date Night

If you have been inspired by The Great Pottery Showdown on TV and fancy getting your hands dirty this Valentine’s Day  – how about taking a pottery class together? Teacher Jon French will show you how to create your very own couples pot. There will also be champagne, canapes and chocolates to help you celebrate. 2. See a romantic movie 

It’s the go-to date night but it never fails. And with writer-director Stella Meghie’s The Photograph due for cinema release (which brings us The Notebook chills all over again) on February 14, it’s the perfect flick to get you in the lovey-dovey mood. The romantic drama is all about a woman who must learn from the secrets in her mother’s past if she is to move forward and allow herself to love and be loved. Tissues at the ready.

2. Attend a wedding show

You might not be there yet, but if you are planning a wedding why not head on down to the Staffordshire County Showground wedding show, which promises to have amazing deals that you won’t find anywhere else! 5. Get some revenge

Well, not literally. But if you are not in the mood for love this February, a chilling thriller might be just the ticket for you. Directed by Louise Jameson (EastEnders, Doc Martin, Doctor Who, Bergerac) this is one thriller guaranteed to leave you gripped from start to finish. Bill Crayshaw MP leads a charmed life, hailed in the corridors of Parliament, lauded in business, and loved at home. That is until he returns from a business trip to find his party agent has been killed in a terrible, tragic accident – or was it? 6. Dance in the aisles

Rock & Roll musical Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story is heading to the Regent Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent as part of its 30th anniversary UK wide tour. The show tells the enduring tale of the musical icon’s meteoric rise to fame and his final legendary performance at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa, before his tragic and untimely death at the age of 22. Sing-a-long, dance and forget all your relationship woes!
