St. Dominic’s Priory School in Stone is inviting all primary age children into school to reconnect with their friends and teachers before the end of term
In line with guidance issued by the Education Secretary on 15 June, Years 2,3,4 and 5 will be invited to join their peers in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 at St Dominic’s Priory School to enjoy some fun activities during the last week of term.
Head Teacher, Mrs Rebecca Harrison, said
“We are very fortunate to have plenty of inside and outside space to enable us to have all of our Prep children in school whilst keeping to the government’s guidance around social distancing and class sizes. Our new senior building has a large Performing Arts studio with glass bi-fold doors that open out directly onto the MUGA (multi use games area) and that, coupled with our large classrooms, school hall and sport hall mean that we can easily facilitate all of our Prep School children safely.
“Although our children and staff have been seeing each other ‘virtually’ via Microsoft Teams daily as our full curriculum has continued to be taught online, they are so excited to be reunited in the flesh and I am so happy to be able to support their wellbeing and education in this way.”
In addition to this, during the final weeks of term St. Dominic’s Priory School is hosting a virtual open day with tour, a virtual sports day,, an online leavers service for the Year 11 children and an end of term whole school event.
