St Dominic's Priory School looks ahead with opening of state of the art teaching block
St. Dominic’s Priory School in Stone is an independent day school for boys and girls aged 3 to 16 years old, and is currently one of Staffordshire’s highest performing schools.

St. Dominic’s Priory School is so committed to each child’s education and welfare that teachers have continued to deliver face to face virtual teaching every day throughout the government’s school closure from pre-school upwards, one of few schools in Staffordshire to do so.
Staff are pleased to have been able to offer an online admissions process during the school closure and have been providing virtual open days with school tours, online assessments and meetings with the Senior Leadership Team.
The school’s recently opened state of the art teaching building now provides additional places for children, and there are still some spaces available for September 2020.
The new building boasts high-tech science labs and classrooms with interactive walls, performing arts and music studios with cutting edge recording and editing technology, an art studio with a ceramics kiln, and a peripatetic music room, all with a beautiful canal side view.
There is even a rooftop classroom which is used for activities such as music and drama performances, an eco-club and weather experiments. There are also SEN and self-study rooms where additional support can be offered to students.
These brand-new facilities enable teachers to use the most forward thinking and progressive teaching methods whilst maintaining traditional core values, ensuring that the learning environment is inspiring and stimulating for all children.
