Christmas Day lunch in Staffordshire 2020

7 Staffordshire pubs and restaurants you could book for Christmas Day lunch

If you don't fancy cooking this year but still want to enjoy the best that Christmas can offer - here's where you can book for Christmas Day lunch in Staffordshire

Christmas is a little over 10 weeks away. And while we don’t know where we will be with the pandemic and lockdowns, we still need to plan for a good Christmas. You might not want to be bothered with cooking on the big day so we’ve found the pubs and restaurants* which are running a Christmas Day lunch in Staffordshire.

It used to be that everything shut up shop for Christmas Day, but that’s just not the case anymore. Christmas Day lunch is a big event in the hospitality industry and nowadays throwing down your apron and getting out for your meal on the special day has become quite the trend. I mean, no cooking and no washing up sounds like a dream to me!

And as we ride out this pandemic it’s more important than ever to support our local businesses. Let’s hope Christmas can go ahead as planned this year, but do keep up-to-date with your venue in case current guidance changes.

1. Aston Marina

The canalside restaurant located on Lichfield Road on the outskirts of Stone has limited availability for Christmas day lunch in Staffordshire 2020. You can also enjoy a takeaway menu on Christmas Day providing three courses for £45 per adult and £25 per child along with optional extras like a cheeseboard or bottle of plonk.

But if you can’t make it on the big day you can still enjoy the bar and restaurant for its festive menu from December 1 to 24 from 10am with last orders at 9pm (8pm on Sundays).
