Biodis technology

Biodis technology is inspired by one of the most powerful microorganism repellent systems around: the human body.

When we come under attack from invading bacteria and viruses, our immune system responds by sending white blood cells called neutrophils straight to the infection.

Once activated, these cells produce the same hypochlorous acid (HOCl), a potent and naturally occurring disinfectant.

The same effect is now available on demand, in your home.

Get ready for the science bit.

At the positive anode, the hydrogen and oxygen in the water reacts with the chlorine in the salt to make hypochlorous acid (HOCl).

At the negative cathode, the sodium and chlorine in the salt combines with the oxygen in the water to produce a low concentration of sodium hypochlorite (NaClO).

But all you really to know is that it produces one of safest, most effective disinfectants and cleaning solutions around, from just water and salt.

  • Kills up to p9.999% of germs
  • Quick action that also has a residual effect and keeps on working if left on surfaces
  • Safe and hypoallergenic solution that’s 99.99% water
  • Proven to work against E. coli, MRSA and Listeria and Coronavirus
  • Reduces chemical and plastic waster while saving money

This clever idea that’s been around since 1834

That’s when Michael Faraday published his findings on the principles of electrolysis observing that an electric current passed through a substance produced chemical changes. Cut to the 1970’s and a Russian scientist called Professor Vitold Bakhir added salt to this process to create a brand-new solution, one that was found to have powerful disinfectant properties.

This was to develop a solution to combat the effects of biological warfare quickly and easily for use on people, animals, equipment, crops and water supplies. With developments in technology.
