The Chatterley Whitfield, based in Stoke-on-Trent, is re-opening its doors to the public on Friday 1st December following a significant refurbishment.
The Hungry Horse site closed its doors to undergo a six figure renovation project to transform the pub inside and out, with significant upgrades providing guests with a more spacious and contemporary dining experience.
The indoor dining area has been expanded, making the whole pub more open plan for guests to enjoy, while new décor, fittings and furniture throughout has given the site a more welcoming look and feel. The kitchen has also been completely refitted to further enhance the pub’s extensive food offering.
Additional TVs have also been added to the family area to expand the site’s already extensive sport offering, perfect for families and friends looking to catch all the live action and tuck into an epic meal at the same time.
The Chatterley Whitfield is a great venue for sports lovers in general, with a new sports bar area opening as a result of the refurbishment, including access to Sky Sports and TNT, meaning you never have to miss a minute of the action.
Not only that, but the pub garden has also received a significant upgrade, featuring a new pergola, enabling guests to enjoy comfy, cosy al fresco dining all year round. An outdoor TV has also been added as a feature.
Upon re-opening, the pub will be serving an epic festive menu including Christmas Nachos and a Sleigh Ride Steak, along with a series of cocktails to get you in the Christmas spirit.
The Chatterley Whitfield’s popular quiz night will return, running every Tuesday, where customers can come down and enjoy a bit of mid week fun.
Located just a few miles away from a number of small local towns, including Tunstall, Chell Heath and Ball Green, the pub is a real central hub for the local community, while its close proximity to Greenway Bank Country Park makes it the ideal location to refuel after a relaxing family walk.
As a result of the investment, the pub team are recruiting for front and back of house roles. Candidates able to apply directly through Indeed, Facebook or by emailing email@example.com.
To celebrate the occasion, the ribbon cutting to officially re-open the pub was conducted by General Manager Jodie Roper and Alison Cooper, one of Chatterley Whitfield’s longest serving staff members of over ten years.
Jodie Roper said: “This refurbishment has been just what the pub needed and we’re made up with the finished product, we can’t wait for our customers, new and old, to see them for themselves.
“With us reopening just in time for the festive period, it’s the perfect time to welcome people back and enjoy Christmas, with quality food, drink and live sport on offer.”
