The rating is determined by one of Visit England’s 50 assessors, with each property being inspected via a ‘mystery shopper’ style visit. With strict criteria, the assessors evaluate the levels of services and facilities offered to determine which accommodation type is awarded which star rating. Every aspect of an accommodation is thoroughly inspected, from the efficiency of the booking process to the level of service, with cleanliness being the most crucial element of any assessment. To celebrate such a brilliant accolade, Moddershall Oaks is now offering guests a limited edition offer, which allows them to enjoy 5% credit on their next spa break. Exclusive for guests booking overnight spa breaks between Monday-Wednesday throughout July, August and September 2024, guests can enjoy 5% of the value of the spa break back, to use as credit within the retreat to enhance their stay. The news of the 5-star accommodation comes as the spa recently announced its plan to add fourteen woodland accommodation pods on the grounds, as part of its investment plans for 2025. The new pods will be made up of eight doubles, four family pods, one honeymoon suite, plus a prep pod, ideal for use as a wedding preparation space. The additional accommodation allows people using the recently made over event space, The Venue, to book overnight accommodation on a private basis, separate from the current ten boutique rooms, available to spa guests. Beyond weddings, the new accommodation pods will be available for corporate and leisure bookings, providing more options for delegates and attracting people to the Staffordshire area for short-break staycations, with breakfast in the nearby restaurant The Oak House included as standard.
