Lakeside Football Club (FC) is launching its first girls’ team. Thanks to the generous support from local housebuilder Walton Homes, the new players have a new kit to compete confidently.
Lakeside FC is a youth football club established in 2011 based at The Hart Academy, Rugeley in Staffordshire. Offering opportunities for children of all abilities. With 14 teams ranging from under 5s to adult football, we focus on creating enjoyable and engaging sessions. Promoting physical fitness, team spirit, and social skills through competitive games. Enhancing overall wellbeing and encouraging a healthy lifestyle for all our players.
Lakeside FC Chairman Boyd Ingram says: “Without the help of Walton Homes, securing funds for additional away kits would have been a significant challenge. We’re grateful for their partnership, which has made this initiative possible and allowed us to provide a positive experience for our young female footballers.
