As Stoke-on-Trent proudly celebrates 100 years of city status, The Potteries Centre, in partnership with Keep it Local, is marking the milestone with a spectacular showcase of local talent: 100 Makers for 100 Years, taking place on Friday 13th September from 9am to 5pm.
This special pop-up market will feature 100 independent local makers, one for every year of Stoke-on-Trent’s rich and creative city history. From artists and artisans to bakers, brewers, crafters, and creators, The Potteries Centre are calling on local businesses to be part of this vibrant celebration.
Hosted at the heart of The Potteries Centre and organised by tenant Keep it Local, who are dedicated to supporting local artists and businesses in the Stoke-on-Trent area. The event will offer small businesses the opportunity to reach thousands of shoppers while spotlighting the creativity, innovation, and community spirit that defines our city.
“Stoke-on-Trent has always been a city of makers, from ceramics to craft, and everything in between. What better way to honour 100 years than by showcasing 100 local makers who are shaping our future,” says Amy Whittaker, Centre Director.
Pitch applications are now open, but spaces are limited, so don’t miss your chance to represent your craft and community.
