On Saturday 13th September, The Potteries Centre will transform into a vibrant showcase of independent talent as Makers on the Malls takes place for the very first time.
In partnership with Yellow by Keep it Local, this special one-day event will celebrate Stoke-on-Trent’s centenary year by shining a spotlight on the city’s makers, artists, and independent businesses. Dozens of stalls will fill the malls, offering visitors the chance to discover unique creations, from handmade jewellery and original artwork to artisan food and locally distilled gin.
Confirmed makers include local artist Chloe Breeze, Staffordshire Gin & Spirits, Daisy Chains Jewellery, Baking @ 17, and Petal & Pot Shop – just a small sample of the wide variety of businesses taking part. Local charities such as Greyhound Gap and Mind will also be present, alongside PINC College, who will showcase student artwork in connection with The Potteries Centre’s centenary mural project.

Running from 9am to 5pm, Makers on the Malls will provide a unique shopping experience within The Potteries Centre itself, complementing the city’s thriving independent scene and offering visitors even more reasons to celebrate local talent.
