Lunar Wedgwood, restaurant at World of Wedgwood in Barlaston, Staffordshire, is proud to announce that it will feature in the finals week of BBC One’s Celebrity MasterChef, airing on Monday 15th December at 9pm.
The episode, filmed earlier this year at World of Wedgwood, celebrates the 250th anniversary of Jasperware, one of Wedgwood’s most iconic and recognisable clay creations. As part of the challenge, the remaining Celebrity MasterChef finalists were invited to prepare and serve a delectable afternoon tea for distinguished guests, including renowned potters and the Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, against the backdrop of one of Britain’s most historic and influential potteries.
The service took place inside the World of Wedgwood Tea Room and Lunar, showcasing the unique partnership between the restaurant and Wedgwood. Every dish featured in the programme was presented on Wedgwood tableware, created just metres from the restaurant itself.
