This September, Salon Privé will welcome one of the most extraordinary automobiles ever created. Making a special appearance at Blenheim Palace during the Concours days on 2nd–3rd September, the 1935 Duesenberg SJ Gurney Nutting Speedster is a true automotive masterpiece. The only Duesenberg ever bodied by renowned British coachbuilder Gurney Nutting, it was originally commissioned by Maharajah Holkar of Indore and built with bespoke royal features unlike any other car of its era.
Recently crowned winner of the prestigious Peninsula Classics Best of the Best Award, this remarkable machine will be displayed publicly for the first time since receiving the accolade. With its fascinating history, unique provenance and breathtaking presence, the Speedster is set to be one of the defining highlights of Salon Privé 2026.
