For over 200 years, the Staffordshire County Show has been delivering a grand celebration of everything that makes the county tick. It has hosted competitions, classic entertainment performances, food halls, and all things agriculture to entice hundreds of locals to its festivities every year.
Following another rousing success in 2026, the Staffordshire County Show will return in the summer of 2027. It’ll be on for the masses from Wednesday 2 June to Thursday 3 June 2027, again delivering in the variety and fun promised by previous instalments. For those keen to go, it’s not long until the tickets go on sale.
What to Expect from the 2027 Staffordshire County Show
There’s always something a little bit different, or something added to the Staffordshire County Show each year. In 2027, the Main Ring Attractions are already listed as including The Shetland Pony National – much like the one once run at Cheltenham – the Show Jumping Competition, the Parade of Vintage Machinery, and much more.
Then, there’s also the County Pursuits Area, complete with falconry and ferrets, as well as The Craft Fair and The Woodland, where people can follow the trails and enjoy the picnic area. Of course, these are just the dedicated areas of the show. You’ll also find plenty of little extras in the form of classic entertainment and activities.
This is a hot trend in many entertainment circles right now. Even as online bingo creates new rooms, themes, and games for players to explore, it’s often the classic ones that rise to the fore. The prime example of this would be Fluffy Favourites Bingo. Based on an old slot in the retro funfair theme, the bingo room continues to boast strong player numbers.
For the 2027 Staffordshire County Show, it’ll be a return to one of the most iconic figures in pre-digital entertainment. The traditional puppet show depicting an archetypal man and wife, Punch & Judy, will be present at next year’s show. It’ll be in the Lower Members Lawn, alongside the bandstand concerts and Drystone Walling Demonstration.
Tickets Available from November 2026
It may not be on until June next year, but the organisers are keen to get tickets sold to everyone who wants to attend. So, they’ll be throwing open a special Early Bird Tickets window. This begins on 1 November 2026 and runs until midnight on 29 May 2027. So, there’s plenty of time to get in on the early action.
These tickets can be purchased via the official website, or you can go to the store. Early Bird Tickets can be bought from the Showground Office as well as from several other associated outlets across Staffordshire. These go up for sale on 1 May 2027 until the close of business on 29 May 2027.
Should you not be sure as to whether or not you can attend yet, there will be full-price tickets available at the gate on the days of the show and likely a few days prior. The event has become so popular that they warn of long queues and possibly missing out altogether if you don’t purchase your ticket in advance.
The 2027 Staffordshire County Show will be yet another grand occasion for locals of all ages and persuasions to enjoy. So, if you want to come along, it’d be the smart play to check out the Early Bird Tickets when they go live on 1 November this year.
