With Halloween and Bonfire night just around the corner, we've put together these warming and wonderful winter cocktails

With the temperatures plummeting, kids finally back at school and things slowly feeling a little normal again, we can look ahead to the fun festivals coming up this autumn and winter. From Halloween to Bonfire Night and the countdown to Christmas, we’re feeling festive. So grab a glass and your favourite shaker and have a go at mixing one of these wonderful winter cocktails.

Silence of the Lambrini

The cocktail you’ve been dying to try… Serve best in a wine glass or high ball glass. Garnish with orange zest. Recipe by www.lambrini.co.uk.

  • Lambrini Very Cherry, RRP £3.00, Sainsbury’s
  • 25ml Black raspberry liqueur
  • 50ml Cranberry juice
  • ½ Lemon
  • Crushed ice
  • Orange zest

Make it:

Mix 25ml black raspberry liqueur with 50ml Cranberry juice and 1/2 the juice from the lemon. Add crushed ice and top with Lambrini Very Cherry. 

Mulled Ginger Wine

Full-bodied, fruity and luxuriously rich. This mulled wine is bursting with spices, natural ginger, citrus fruit, red fruit and raisins. Serve in a large mug. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a twist of orange. Recipe by www.crabbiesgingerwine.co.uk.

  • A twist of orange

Make it: 
Gently warm through in a saucepan on a low heat. Remove from the heat and ladle into a large mug.

Lambrini Sparkles

For a tasty drop of fizz, this Lambrini version is just the business. Serve in a champagne flute. Garnish with orange zest and a cherry.

  • Lambrini Always Original
  • A spoonful (we like a table spoon) of Cherry liqueur
  • 25ml Pineapple juice
  • 25ml Orange juice
  • 1/2 a lime

Make it: 
Squeeze 1/2 a lime into a cocktail shaker and add 25ml pineapple juice, 25ml orange juice and a spoonful of cherry liqueur. Shake and strain into the champagne flute, and top with Lambrini.

Gingerly Sip

A spicy and refreshing tipple perfect for warming up this season. Serve in a short glass. Garnish with a twist of orange and a Cinnamon stick.

  • 100ml Eisberg Alcohol-Free Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1⁄2 lemon
  • 1tsp of sugar
  • Cubed ice
  • Ginger Ale

Make it: 
Pour 100ml of alcohol-free Sauvignon Blanc into a short glass then add the juice of 1⁄2 a lemon, 1 tsp of sugar and lots of cubed ice. Top up the glass with the ginger ale and garnish with a twist of orange. Use the cinnamon stick to stir with.
