award winning destination spa, The Spa at Carden is putting on a special event on Monday 3rd September, empowering Men Navigating Cancer.
In collaboration with Made for Life Organics, “Tea and Tools”, is a special session designed for men whose partners may be going through cancer or who are navigating their own personal journey with the disease. Led by Jamie Edwards, a renowned mental performance coach with a wealth of experience in helping individuals manage life’s complexities, this session offers practical tools that can be seamlessly integrated into daily life. Whether its looking to support your inner circle and family or seeking guidance on how to manage your own mental and emotional well-being, “Tea and Tools” is designed to equip men with the skills they may need.
Navigating the emotional and psychological challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis, whether personally or within your family, can be incredibly daunting. Difficult conversations, feelings of helplessness, and the struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy are just a few of the issues many face. Jamie Edwards will provide strategies and insights to help approach these situations with confidence and care. During the session, attendees will learn how to:
- Approach difficult conversations with sensitivity and clarity
- Support your loved ones in a way that is both compassionate and effective
- Implement practical mental performance tools to help you cope with stress and uncertainty
- Strengthen your resilience and emotional fortitude during challenging times
