The Potteries Centre Brings ‘A Wicked Halloween’ to Stoke-on-Trent

The Potteries Centre is set to transform this October with a spook-tacular programme of Halloween activities guaranteed to delight families, shoppers, and Halloween lovers of all ages.

From Friday 18th October through to Sunday 2nd November, visitors can immerse themselves in A Wicked Halloween, featuring a themed trail of seven larger-than-life photo opportunities, including a bubbling cauldron, a giant jack-o’-lantern, a towering skeleton and more.

Guests are encouraged to snap photos with the displays and share them on social media by tagging @thepotteriescentre and using the hashtag #PotteriesHalloween. Each photo posted will count as an entry into a prize draw, with one lucky winner set to take home a brand-new iPad.

The celebrations will culminate on Saturday 1st November, coinciding with Stoke City Centre BID’s Big Halloween Street Party. Visitors can enjoy a vibrant costume parade passing through the centre, as well as the artisan market outside.

Inside The Potteries Centre, families can look forward to free entertainment and activities between 11am and 4pm, including:

  • Special character appearances from Elphaba and Glinda, inspired by the hit musical Wicked
  • Roaming stilt walkers dressed as witches, bringing mischief and magic to the mall

Amy Whittaker, Centre Director, said:
“We’re so excited to bring ‘A Wicked Halloween’ to life at The Potteries Centre this year. From giant spooky displays to interactive family fun, there will be something for everyone to enjoy – and plenty of reasons to get into the Halloween spirit.”
