Rebecca who is Staffordshire based was interviewed by Screen earlier in the year with her producing partner Stella Nwimo.
The company based in Staffordshire, West Midlands and London has been very busy the last few years. They delivered LOW RIDER funding by The British Institute that premiered in Competion in the category of Excellence in Film Making for the Sean Connery Award at the Edinburgh Film Festival in August 2025. Sales agents Alief are currently liasing with distiributors in the UK and US for theatrical offers.

Rebecca also produced for the company LET’S LOVE currently in post production with Princ Films selling the film the comedy starring Martin Freeman, Josh Hutcherson, Malin Ackerman and Jess Weixler with music composed by Razorlights, Andy Burrows.

Boudica Entertainment will be producing A BLUE BUTTERFLY early in 2026 starring Steve Touissant (House of the Dragon). We are currently casting and financing the film. Following a BBC indie award in 2024, Rebecca with Stella has been developing a slate of TV content. So far we have attached major distributors to TV ideas the company has created and we are thrilled to announce that we are producing a geo political thriller TV series, TOMORROW DIED YESTERDAY with Plan B Entertainment (US) and Apple TV.
ABOUT REBECCA LONG
From Staffordshire with roots here spanning generations, Rebecca returned with her two boys and has lived in the Loggerheads area since 2018. She is proud to be from Staffordshire and loves the people and the countryside here.
Though it has been challenging living in Staffordshire building a production company, times are changing and there is now real recognition from the industry that the regions are instrumental to support in Film and TV and her ambitions are to grow a powerhouse Film and TV production company that will help put Staffordshire on a global map. The diversity, beauty, people are incredible and it’s time to change the perception of Staffordshire and show the culture, talent, people and place.
In the future her ambitions are to seek, develop and produce local stories that will resonate with local audiences and have global appeal and support local talent such as writers from other disciplines and develop their careers in Film and TV.
With over 25 years experience in film (she started producing at school), Rebecca has had a long career creating, producing and financing content for international audiences. Rebecca served as an Executive Producer on a number of independent films such as Carol Morley’s, ‘The Falling’, the Elena Anaya- starrer ‘Swung’ and ‘Iona’, which stars Ruth Negga.
As an independent producer, Rebecca raised financing for a slate of films that she went on to produce, that included ‘Kat and the band’ and ‘The Krays’ Mad Axeman’.
Since her Masters in Arts from RADA and King’s College, London. Rebecca has created and produced a variety of Award winning independent films that have been released domestically and internationally. In 2010, she was mentored by Women In Film & TV and has also been featured in the book ‘100 Old Roedeanians over 100 years inspiring young women’.
She is proud to be a voting member of BAFTA.

Female-led indie Boudica Entertainment is thrilled to announce that its latest feature film, Low Rider, has been officially selected for this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF), where it will have its world premiere. The Producers have been involved in the production of over 20 films to date and Boudica Entertainment is the recipient of the 2024 BBC’s Small Indie Funds. The West Midlands-based production company is building a powerhouse slate of global stories with established and emerging on and off-screen talent. The company is currently in post-production on Let’s Love, starring Martin Freeman, Josh Hutcherson, Malin Akerman and Jess Weixler, and financing Stolen, an action- thriller written and to be directed by Anya Camilleri starring Lidija Kordić, Goran Višnjić and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Beyond film, Boudica Entertainment is also in funded development on a number of scripted projects for Television. Individually they have produced and supported films with talent such as George McKay, Emilia Jones, Florence Pugh, Charlotte Rampling, Ciaran Hinds.
