The Ultimate Spa Experience at Hoar Cross Hall

Staffordshire Living were recently invited to experience the Purity Day spa package at Hoar Cross Hall, Our day began at 9:15 AM with a refreshing pineapple and ginger welcome drink. The spa impresses immediately with its thoughtful layout, cleanliness, and luxurious amenities, including plush robes and towels. Once changed in the lovely changing rooms, we went off to explore and found our way to the sanctuary pool, which was amazing and peaceful, featuring a saltwater pool that was lovely and warm.  We then decided to have a drink, and it was very easy to order on the app, which meant that they would bring it straight to our table outside the sauna and steam rooms. We were not brave enough to face the ice part of the experience, apart from the ice that was in the glass of virgin cocktail that we had alongside the cup of coffee that we decided on to perk us up.  We were now ready for the fantastic elemis skin experience with the consultant. The idea is that the consultant walks you through the process of a DIY facial using all the products that was great fun. Elemis products are lovely, and they do have products for every skin type

The facility offers an extensive range of complimentary experiences – from Elemis skin tutorials to unexpected activities like archery and axe throwing. A convenient wristband system handles all payments and locker access, eliminating the need for carrying cash or cards.

The wellness facilities are comprehensive, featuring a sauna, steam room, and aromatherapy steam room. The signature saltwater pool complex includes therapeutic hot tubs (37-38°C) and an enchanting starlit cave sanctuary. The premium poolside area offers heated loungers and advanced massage jets, while the Nordic Heat and Ice suite provides temperature contrast treatments for the adventurous.

We opted for one-hour relaxing massages (an extra charge with the Purity Day package). We both came out feeling relaxed recharged, and ready for the rest of the experience and enjoyed a superb three-course lunch at Hugo’s restaurant. The menu delivered excellence with dishes like smoked salmon tartlet and Berry Eton mess, complemented by white rioja – all enjoyed while remaining in our spa attire. The meal was superb and all the courses were perfectly cooked.

We then decided to go to the beautiful outdoor area complete with 3 thermal pools, fantastic lounger beds with and the bar area where you could fit in a snack, alcoholic and soft drinks. There are snuggly blankets, which I assure you, you will need if you   went at the end of January like we did,

The afternoon found us in the Sanctum area, complete with suspended relaxation pods, premium comfort beds, and peaceful meditation spaces. The Purity Spa Day package (until 5:30pm) offers outstanding value, though the only challenge is fitting all the experiences into a single day. For those seeking the complete experience, a weekend stay is highly recommended. Hoar Cross Hall truly delivers an unforgettable spa journey that balances luxury, wellness, and personal choice. To book your little slice of heaven, it is definitely worth booking for a little treat for yourself or a loved one.  We had a great day, but unfortunately, if you ask me, one day is not long enough. There is so much to do, including exercise classes and the gym.  It is, however, a great day to go to with a friend or a loved and gives you the space to relax and kick back. I am just thinking about when we can go again.
