Following the success of the centenary “100 Makers for 100 Years” celebration, The Potteries Centre is bringing the festive spirit back with two Christmas Makers on the Mall markets, giving shoppers the chance to find unique, locally made gifts this holiday season.
Partnering once again with Keep it Local, the pop-up markets will run on:
- Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November
- Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December
Each market will feature 30 carefully curated stalls showcasing Christmas-themed gifts, crafts, and festive treats. This year’s line-up includes a variety of talented local creators such as:
- Two Green Giraffes – Handmade jewellery, hair accessories, and gifts
- The Geek Fairy – Handcrafted geeky goodies for the community to enjoy
- The Clay Nest – Bespoke handmade clay imprints
- Tallwellyn Comics – An ambitious UK comic art graduate sharing original stories with the world
With Small Business Saturday just around the corner, the Christmas Makers on the Mall are the perfect way to celebrate and support local independent traders this festive season.
Visitors can shop for one-of-a-kind handmade items while supporting independent businesses from Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.
“We were so proud of the community spirit and quality of talent during our centenary ‘100 Makers’ event, and we knew we had to bring it back for Christmas,” says Amy Whittaker, Centre Director.
“These festive markets are the perfect way to support local creators and find unique gifts that will make the holidays extra special. Come and support your local makers!”
The market will run from 9am – 5pm on each market day.
Local businesses interested in a stall should contact Keep it Local directly.
The Christmas Makers on the Mall add another festive reason to visit The Potteries Centre, complementing the Ice Palace Grotto, extended shopping hours, and seasonal dining options.
