Stoke-on-Trent City Council has released details of four new Apprenticeship positions at their newly created Repairs and Maintenance Service, which was established when Unitas was bought in-house in April 2025.
The closing date for the highly sought-after positions in Electrical Engineering, Gas Engineering, Plumbing and Joinery is 12 June 2025. Applications are welcomed from students taking GCSE’s or A-Levels this year as well as anyone looking to make a career change.

CSR Co-ordinator Rachel Forster who is responsible for overseeing the Apprenticeship programme said, “We’re extremely proud of our Apprentices and the work they do. These posts offer an opportunity for students to earn whilst being supported through their studies by a dedicated mentor. In the past these posts have been extremely popular; last year, we received over three hundred applications for six posts.”
