It’s Dougie Mac’s Christmas Jumper Day

Today is Dougie Mac’s Christmas Jumper Day and businesses, schools, individuals and community groups across the City have pulled on their festive knitwear to support their local hospice.

Deborah Vickers, Head of Business and Events Fundraising at Dougie Mac, said: “Christmas Jumper Day is one of our favourite days of the year, we love seeing everyone in their festive knits and having lots of fun. Our fundraisers are out and about, visiting some of the local businesses and schools who are taking part to thank them for their support.

“While Christmas Jumper day is lots of fun, it’s also an important day for us to raise money to help us continue our specialist care and support services for local children, young adults and adults. We rely hugely on the support and generosity of our local community and we’re so grateful for every donation we receive, not only on Christmas Jumper Day, but throughout the whole year.”

Dougie Mac is encouraging everyone who is taking part in its Christmas Jumper Day to share their festive photos on social media and tag Dougie Mac.
