Staffordshire based, family-run housebuilder, Walton Homes, has lent its support to 13-year-old up-and-coming go kart champion Carter Inskip-Clarkson, sponsoring Carter to help him along the way to achieve his dream of a successful motor sport career.
Carter lives in Cheadle, where Walton Homes’ Augustus Fields development is located, and is a student at the local Painsley Catholic Academy. Carter’s ambition is to represent his country at the highest level in a sport he is hugely passionate about, which Walton Homes’ sponsorship will help him to achieve.
Carter has had many successes in karting to date – in 2022, after a few months of going to his local indoor track, Carter was entered into the British Indoor Karting Championship. With over 600 entrants in his category, Carter qualified for the national finals along with the top 29 drivers in the country.
During 2023, Carter made the decision to move to outdoor karting and has never looked back. Carter competed in the Daniel Ricciardo Series Championship (DRS). During his rookie year in the DRS62 class, he competed in seven rounds and finished on the podium in each one.
